Job Type: Part Time
Hours: Monday – Thursday from 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM
Job Goal: To create, provide, and support academic success to 7-12 students with Academic Enrichment in Reading, Math, and STEM based instruction.
Qualifications: Must have an up-to-date teaching certificate from the State of Florida.
Performance Responsibilities:
Plan and implement integrated academic lessons that support the school day lessons and learning.
Create a classroom culture that encourages group thinking, curiosity and discovery.
Implement project-based learning with support from the integrated Services Coordinator.
Manage students’ behaviors with students’ best interest.
Assess student progress and submit data to Integrated Services Coordinator.
Assist with family literacy activities as requested.
Communicate with day-school teachers to assess the students’ needs.
Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Attend monthly training courses.
