2024 Spring Testing Home School Registration

Home Schooled students may participate in state mandated FAST or EOC assessments if they intend on enrolling in a Jefferson County Public School within the next year. Home Schooled students intending to complete high school as a Home-Schooled student are not required to take any of the standardized assessments mentioned here.

**Please be advised that testing will occur in person at the test site listed below.

Jefferson K-12 School (main campus)
50 David Rd. | Monticello, FL 32312

  • The registration window for end of year FAST and EOC assessments is now open.

Please note that the registration window for Spring FSA retakes testing will close on February 29,  2024. Spring FSA retakes for Reading/Writing and Algebra 1 are for seniors only.

Students must register for all other FAST assessments or EOC's by Monday, March 18, 2024.

If you fit these criteria and would like to take a Spring 2024 Assessment, please contact Kala Alexander at the Jefferson County School District Office.

NOTE: Home-schooled students in Florida are not required to take any standardized tests, per State Statute. An EOC is NOT required to earn the final grade if the entire course was completed as a home-schooled student, even if the student returns to a traditional school. The Algebra EOC does, however, does satisfy the math graduation requirement if the student receives a passing score. This information is being provided for those students who wish to return to a traditional school.

  • Registration for SAT School Administration at your child's boundary school has been extended until Thursday, March 28, 2024. The cost of the exam is $35. To register for this exam, please send the request to Kalexander@jeffersonschools.net
